Huge tarps blocking the Kennedy Center sign, which now no longer includes President Donald Trump’s name following a court order, are still blocking the public’s view for a sixth straight day with no indication as to when they will come down.
It will take a brand new court order and all new judge rulings and delays to have Trump remove the tarp’s, those tarps ain’t coming down anytime soon, they could be up for years.

@teriking3850They have left the tarp up because the Board filed another appeal with the Court to get his name put back on after it had been taken off. That's why the tarp is still there - they are believing they will win that appeal and will be able to put his name back on.
Also, the Board went ahead and created an "endowment" and named it the "Trump Kennedy Center Fund" which is in direct violation of all the court rulings that his name be removed from everything! All the board members who agreed to that should be charged with Contempt of Court and at the very least, removed from the Board permanently.
I'm surprised nobody has tried to tear it down yet.

@LoisLane_2025I'm sure the position being taken is that the Judges order has been followed and the name is down, but it never said anything about covering the area up. Back to court folks. A long rope and pickup truck could solve the problem rather quickly.
