50 Mind-Blowing Facts About Europe’s Geography
Video Overview & Insights
In this video, we’re diving into 50 mind-blowing geography facts about Europe!
And nothing about the Danube Delta in Romania and many other big mind-blowing geography facts. Only the countries with the biggest PR, as usual. Very dissapointing.
We’ll explore underwater waterfalls, underground rivers, and a lake that’s both Europe’s oldest and one of its deepest. You’ll also uncover Europe’s only desert, a mountain that doesn’t belong where it stands, and a city smaller than a theme park that runs an entire country.
Whether you love geography or just enjoy learning new things, these surprising facts will make you see Europe in a whole new way!
Another American like video content with some facts not entirely true. Good try though

@fmyoung9:34 Bergen is the birthplace of classical composer Edvard Grieg (1843-1907), who wrote the well-known "Morning Mood" (from Peer Gynt).
@fmyoung8:34 There is something like that in Mauritius too, at Le Morne Brabant.
@fmyoung8:30 If that does eventually happen, then the Mediterranean would become the world's largest lake.
@fmyoung7:47 Speaking of which, Switzerland hosted the 1954 men's soccer world cup, which saw the highest average number of goals scored per game, and then, the highest-scoring match of a men’s world cup took place in the quarter-finals when Austria defeated host Switzerland 7-5. Those 12 goals have never been surpassed in a men’s world cup match since.
@fmyoung4:57 The country with the world's northernmost capital.
@fmyoung4:29 The Vatican is one of five countries with no international airport. (The largest among them is Andorra.)
@fmyoung3:44 Just an aside to this, Belarus is the world's most northerly landlocked country, and Ukraine is the largest country solely in Europe.
@fmyoung2:50 China is the only country with more reclaimed land than the Netherlands (13,500km2 vs 7,000km2) although percentage-wise the Netherlands does top the list at 17%.
@fmyoungGreece is the country with the longest coastline on the Mediterranean, and Algeria is the largest country on it.
@fmyoung0:10 The Roman Colosseum was built between 72 and 80 AD. The well-known eruption of Mount Vesuvius that buried Pompeii and Herculaneum took place during this period, in 79 AD.
@fmyoungNumber two also there is a small desert in poland so not the only one but probably the biggest
@suestravelaccI didnt know about the wadden sea, which is facepalm as i grew near the bristol channel,, we have mudflat hiking here as well, when the tide comes in the water frot moves gaster than a charging horse due to the high tidal range and the shallow beach. Loads of dutch engineers came to somerset in 17th century to drain somerset, so we have dozens and dozens of villages that have dutch names....
@neoaliphantYour map is inaccurate: Crimea and the former Eastern part of Ukraine belong to Russia it's even recorded in the Federal Russian Constitution.

6:49 Fun fact : The majority of the water of the first 50km disappears through the underground into the Rhine River system. Technically it flows in two different seas ,the Black Sea and the North Sea.😅
11:22 Mount Etna is ONE of the most active volcanoes in Europe but the title goes to the island of Stromboli with the volcano also called “The lighthouse of the Mediterranean” wich erupt around every 20 minutes since thousands of years.

Your point 1 is incorrect. As you say Europe is the only continent not defined by geography because it is part of Eurasia. Well so is Asia...... so the same must therefore be true for Asia not being defined by geography.
