When Miley Cyrus on her single River pronounces "You're just like a river", it seems that she says "just like a river". Why it happens that?

Hi, Vanessa! I'm really glad to watch one of your videos again. Wow, I haven't watched your videos for a while. But the good thing is that I'm back, and I'll continue to improve my English by watching them. Anyway, thank you so very much! 🇧🇷🇺🇸

Thank you ever so much, Vanessa! The dog is less angry this time 😊. I realize one sound that distinguishes American accent to others, it is the 'a' in 'hand', 'has', 'have', 'had', 'hat' ... Is is the blending 'e - a'? Wish you a new year of joy, love, health, and success. You are the best AE teacher I have ever followed...

What are you looking for. Most natives speakers say some kind of /wʌt̬ər.uː/ or /wɑːɾəju:/ i'm not sure, i need aproximate phonetic transcription, to imitate how we say 'what are you'
