I will definitely check out Da Vinci and Push. Have you ever read, "West with the Night", Beryl Markham's autobiography? I read it in the nineties and I still think about it frequently. It left a very powerful impression on me. Some other good autobiographies you may like are, "Red Azalea" and "Life and Death in Shanghai".
By the way, if you're confused by the woodpecker thing: it's something that Leonardo Da Vinci researched, and I forgot to mention that part in the video, sorry.
