I live here in Canada B.C. We get a lot of rain, wind, and lightning. My favorite, is whenever the power would go out and my mom would order Chinese food. And when it arrived, we would all be sitting around the dimly lit candles as we listened to the rain. Ugh such great memories. I miss it.

In the 60's when I was a small child my grandmother would make all 6 of us, children, lay down and be quiet. She'd close the windows, the curtains, cover the mirrors and turn off the electricity. We'd all have to be very quiet and go to sleep As an adult I now understand why playing outside after it rained back then was extra fun!

We must have been as hot as hell waking up from a heat coma in that house! 😂😂😂❤
