Alone time is a valuable resource. We've all wasted a day doomscrolling. Don't just NOT do that. Do this stuff instead:
34 productive things to do alone, by yourself, with no one around. Push-ups, journaling, long walks, working on your car, solo dinners, museums, writing letters, making playlists, fighting the ocean. Stuff to do when you're bored, lonely, or your friends won't text back.
Take a piece of paper and follow an origami tutorial, you can make some fun things or even a decoration for your place :)
Pick one. Go do it. Tell me which in the comments.

@walledali6382I love what you are doing here. Everything is great. I'd like to emphasize that learning, exercising, and making plans are things that every one should do.
@alexanderson5430A video about loneliness and dealing with our darkest times, with Over the Garden Wall references and that papier mache man subplot? Just amazed on the variety of James' videos!
@lawischCan u do advice for teenagers
@christieshin8246:27 upper deck, LH 747-8? :o
@danielx6960Burn the paper mache man 😂😂
@julianacaceresguana4988Going to concerts alone is pretty fun. Talking to people with the same music taste is fun and you may see them at another concert. I don’t condone it but smoking outside bars and concerts allowed me to talk to random strangers I would have never met.
@slapcrapchris2610:09 I think that loneliness is getting to you…
@CineMemeShorts"Work on your car" man you dont need to call me out like this :(
@TrashCanCarsGoing to a park and just listening to the birds is so therapeutic to me
@Surooh333This video inspired me to both write about my day today and ask my girlfriend on a date to a museum. Thanks!
@cboborinoGuys, we've been bamboozled. It was 32 things to do when you are alone, not 34
@negussiewright4700ight i was following along until the paper mache man
@JuanReyesdankBurn ChatGPT to the ground 🔥
@knappco@0:20 stop sniffing things, its weird!

@siddharthshankar7244For a start you're not alone. You have a dog.
@tinnedangerI feel like I've found a role model for man after retirement. Thank you.
@hida934You forgot 'Start a Funko collection' ... jk... this list seems to loosely track with the "hobbies girls find attactive" vid from about a year ago.
@RobSpencesJust got this video recommended after a breakup, gives me some hope 🫂
@DaddyMalaria5:33 what the hell 😂
@subscribbroamazing ideas! unfortunately i'm dirt poor
@idc_gobirdsThe cactus i got from my sister a year ago started falling over slowly, it was time to put a piece of wooden skewer to support it
@berenyiadam8579I went to a cemetery in Prague, Czech Republic. It was the Vysehrad one, and it was beautiful. Not just for a cemetery, but as a place.
And I also went to the movies alone. It was the last day of 12 Strong and we were like 15 persons in the entire room. Best movie experience. I could stretch my legs and keep both my elbows on the armrests. Would recommend anytime.
The only thing I would add, which covers some of the things you mentioned is: teach yourself something new.
Like you mentioned with a language, you don't have to learn everything about it, you don't have to learn the whole skill. On days I had no plans, I gathered these:
I learned how to patch the inseam of my pants, which always gets torn.
Learned how to cook spaghetti bolognese.
Learned other several dishes, that are now a part of my repertoire.
Learned how to use Obsidian for my personal note taking, which later became part of my job note taking.
Learn how to keep a budget. To actually manage my budget, not just note my expenses.
Learn how to hand wash clothes.
Oh and this I didn't learn, but is an activity, go through the configuration of one of your accounts/apps, and actually tweak it to your liking. Not just the standard settings.
15:08 damn that guys born the same year as me and not here anymore. im taking life for granted
@justinduckett4557Low key the Paper Mache man feels like an Edgar Allen Poe story.
@Dysfunctional_ReprintThe biggest thing I took away from this video is to be intentional. Don’t just do things to do them. Not all of these things will work for you or me, but by intentionally doing them, we find what works for us and maybe find a new passion.
@SupersonicBholeLmao nooooooo not the man!
@bezerkchicken41154:40 cats, particulary long haired ones, need a lot of brushing. They love it too
@v_valentineyuriLiterally watched the prestige yesterday lol
@danielbyczek6224Trying to see the video of Zack teaching you how to surf ASAP!!!!
@otoentitii feel like this channel isn't unisex, the first video i saw was (42 things you should learn) and your wording was directed to men only, example "and useful is the coolest thing a guy can be", with this video you mentioned that when you walk enough you will enter a flow state, that is never the case for women based on a BYU study, it used eye-tracking heat maps to reveal how men and women experience walking alone, we are always hyper-vigilante, your content is great, but it is exclusive to men and also not mentioning any of the real life things women face at all, maybe learn more about that, read about women's history or so, it will surely make you a better man for the women in your life and just a better empathetic human in general.
@taya985I like to go through my closet and pack out all my old clothes for goodwill.
@javidadersonI wish i had a Jesse
@KaTo-sh6ofBeing older 62 ..lm on disability and exercise can be painful. Everyone has a life to live . do lot of things you are suggesting
@lawrenceeustache9422Missing “Call your grandmother or mom” was an L
@AshleyHimself12 is bad. 12 is reeeeeeal bad.
Fired up my old RC car during covid. Now I'm at a race at least every other weekend and practicing multiple times a week.
I loved this video I think I’m gonna try most of the stuff on here as well as add other things to the list and make a whole series about it
@timmyswoop3781I picked up on something. Seems like your sister is no longer with us? As someone who's lost a sibling, I'm sorry for your loss if that's the case.
@NINELAJESUSHey so number 25: See if you have a cemetery that doesn't mind cycling. There's one close to my apartment that has a crazy spectacular hill, they don't mind cyclists so long as we're not yelling and we're respectful. Honestly, it feels like an honor to all of their lives to do something epic like cycling an epic hill in a cemetery. I mean, that's what I'd want someone to do past my grave.
