This is What 30 Days of No Caffeine Does to Your Body

Day 4 off of caffeine and really feeling the withdrawal symptoms- extremely exhausted (3 naps a day), sugar cravings, and a depressed mood 😅 I can't wait to get to the other side!! Coffee is terrible and I'm seeing how much of a drug it was now that I quit!

The video has been pretty informative mostly but I feel like your recommendation to drink coffee “every other day” is just you rationalizing your relapse into the addiction. I haven’t seen this recommended anywhere else.

I had the idea to cut caffeine today because of sleep problems. Now I am doing my research!

Quick question for people in the comment section, has anyone tried quitting caffeine but still or switched to taking creatine? If so can anyone tell me the benefits of any.

I’ve got one month caffeine free now. My energy levels are stable. It’s nothing like a can of Bang, or a scoop of pre workout, but it’s an even and stable level, with little to no drop offs.

Stopped a week ago. The headaches weren't so bad. Apparently they come from increased blood flow to the brain. What other product that cuts off blood flow to your brain would people consider safe?

The sleep starting on day 4-5 was incredible. 8-9 hours of uninterrupted sleep. The days are now starting to feel longer, but in a good way. I feel less rushed, more patient, able to slow things down.

Far lower appetite. I'm not getting massive hunger cravings. At lunch I'm slightly hungry but have far more control over how much I eat. My GI tract is moving slower and I feel like I'm digesting my food better.

What about decaf?! Does it impact blood flow to the brain as well? I’m on day 8 of no caffeine I’m just drinking a cup or two of decaf. First two-three days were rough but now it’s pretty good.

i must be odd, my appetite increased after quitting…

I’m just over halfway through the video and thank you. I gave up my one cup of coffee in the morning three days ago and I am a train wreck. I appreciate your input. Please say this gets better stat

I wanna quit it's starting to make me feel like sh*t

@JustinandJuniesKitchen

I've been a coffee drinker for 30 years. I quit for 30 days, then went back to it. I quit for 60 and 90 days as well. To be honest, I didn't notice any difference in how I felt. Why is that? Mind you, I feel great most of the time anyway.

Watching whilst drinking coffee and eating a fried breakfast.

@adobenumpty

Very good research. True about the food cravings. As caffeine tolerance increases we get hungry faster on caffeine and the type of hunger is junk food or sugar bc our brain is craving more dopamine. ⭐️

How about cocoa ??

I was recently consuming about 400mg per day. Anxiety was high and I always looked forward to the energy drink. I stopped three days ago. The second day I had a severe headache in the front of my head that Aleve couldn't even help. The next day it was gone and I've been sleeping soundly. It’s also not drying my body out.

@DrawSessions

what about decaff coffee

You can do it quit everything And sleep if you sleep and drink water for a few weeks you will not experience withdrawal symptoms your body REALLY needs sleep and the caffeine will stop working after awhile whoever you live with should respect this and not shame you for resting ❤

I never felt relaxed in my whole life till i stopped consuming caffeine.

I have had anxiety, ocd
Anxious behaviors, doubtful attitudes, aggressive all day long, i was constantly being warned

But now i feel like i was born today, i got back to my childhood era

I was using medicines (psychiatric medicines)
To reduce my anxiety, ocd (obsessive compulsive disorder)

I realized i dont need medicines anymore all i need is to get rid of this drug substance which is caffeine.

i quit caffeine almost 3 weeks ago and now i’m experiencing exhaustion throughout the whole day instead of just when the caffeine wore off. i can barely push through each day without a long nap. also still experiencing a diuretic effect at night for some reason. is something wrong with me??? 😅

@t0x0plasm
@

I had adhd and self medicated with caffeine for over 20 years. I was always waking up in the middle of the night. I finally got medication for it. i just naturally quit drinking caffeine and i sleep well. Eventhough l, adhd meds are stims.

@justinnobles2270

Can we just drink decaf

This guy talking about no caffeine, but what about no steroids?

If it restricts blood flow to the scalp, would it mean it causes hair loss to some extend?

Does anyone with adhd notice with 3+ coffees a day you become so hyper you can’t focus even more than usual?

I’ve quit coffee for 5 days and i feel a lot calmer and able to focus a bit more

It took me 6 weeks to feel normal after quitting caffeine woow crazy starting to feel better but still not fully recovered ✌️🙏❤️

If you're going to take these super high sodium based electrolytes, please eat yogurt to absorb the excess sodium and oxalate in your system, or you can rapidly develop KIDNEY STONES... the most painful thing imaginable!

MASSIVE relatively long time depression might occur.

At least that's the case for me after I quit caffeine.

@Faergerovinklar
@

I stopped drinking for about 3 weeks now. Not sure if I notice anything yet but my sex drive seems to have gone down 😂. My bowel movements have changed but now seems to be back to normal now after a few weeks

@vktravellog1242
@

I’m not convinced that doing the “use caffeine when you have a challenging task ahead” thing is wise. It just starts the whole dependency process over again.

@ladycactus110
@

I have found no evidence to substantiate this theory but it seems like there's a correlation between excessive caffeine consumption and hair loss

@NickC9545

I was kind of hoping following your advice would make my muscles swell and enlarge all over my body.

There are no benefits worth losing sleep. Once you start sleeping better and waking up sufficiently refreshed, you’ll know what I mean.

@mattjerina3855

I go by Ben Azadi's theory wait 90 minutes after you wake up for your am cortisol spike to go away then drink medium roast organic with testing for pesticides and other things, just coffee no sugar coffee has health benefits and zero coffee after 12pm i take a small pinch of Celtic salt and room temp water when I wake up and no food at all until after 9 am doing the 18 / 6 fasting

@scoop-pm7lk

I drank energy drinks for a decade and I think it damaged my gut. Abdominal cramps almost gone I’m 7 days caffeine free and 90% of pain gone

@brian6827

I was a coffee addict for over 17 years. I beat smoking, alcohol but didn’t even consider quitting coffee until I started drinking hot lemon tea. I only planned to drink it for one day but now I actually prefer it to coffee. I’m on day 8 and I feel like crap but I’m in this for the long haul.
