I have had several patients and viewers alike ask me if it is possible to change your eye color. Thankfully, modern science has found several ways to change eye color, each with its own considerations for safety and effectiveness.
Eye Color Changing Eye Drops have emerged as a newer option, claiming to alter eye color gradually by either darkening or lightening the iris. However, the safety and effectiveness of these drops are still being researched, and many trending brands have been flagged for questionable safety issues. Potential side effects and long-term consequences of these color changing eye drops require further investigation before widespread use. Caution should be advised.

Eye Color Change Surgery provides a more permanent solution. Procedures such as iris implants involve inserting a colored silicone implant into the eye to change its hue. While this method has been US FDA approved for the treatment of some eye conditions, they are not without risks. As with all forms of invasive surgery, these procedures carry risks such as infection, inflammation, and other complications. Another option, is the newer keratopigmentation surgery, modern techniques involve using a laser procedure to create small channels within the cornea where colored pigments can be injected into layers of the cornea. @_andryAbout the iris shape repair . Many decades ago, a relative, as a kid, had serious trauma to the cornea and iris. Surgeries helped him to save his eyeball but not the aesthetics of the the iris nor the vision at more than 1/10. I truly don't know about how he lost his vision and if it is somehow repairable. I don't even know the current state of his eye. What was and still is visible is that the iris at small sizes is round but the wider it becomes the more irregular it becomes. So, since in this video you are talking about aesthetics and surgery being worth the risk mostly in the case of trauma, what could the approach be. As you can imagine this has been a trauma for his soul, too. He is above 50yo and has always been socially avoidant to isolated.
@euboeanWhat about the laser that gets rid of the top layer of the eye color and reveals blue? TI’s wife tiny traveled abroad and had that done. She said it was really safe and fast.

@astrogemsMy dad tried using eye drops and was told that it would take about 2 months to start taking affect, and when it didn't even after three months he called them and was told that it was actually nearly up to a year or more. Eyedrops (or atleast the ones my dad tried) are a massive scam and I'm quite sure they'll do nothing but damage your eyes. Please be wary of these websites and items. LOVE YOUR EYES AS THEY ARE!!!!

I know quite some people do take the risk, but it is imo totally illogic to even take a 0.001% risk of going blind.
My eye color is brown and i hate it to say the least. I took after my half Mexican Mom. My Fathers eye color is green. While i did gain his genetics still in great shape at 43 but going on 25. Hes 67 and still looks 40. Still works with me doing remodel work. Can still lift 60lbs. At his age is amazing. So looks like contacts is my best choice.
@antagonissticCould be misinformation but I thought there was one additional procedure where the surgeon uses laser to remove all of the pigment nothing involved with dye injections? It may have a higher safety risk obviously
