excellent drill - just 1 suggestion - make it vertical, so players are creating the habbit to play forward and pass the ball to the front foot.
It's a little thing, but when you set it like this (vertically oriented), you'll see my point and then you can link it with other, more directional-oriented possession drills

Even with players of their age the passing quality is still quite poor, even though it's the most basic of skills. At a young age I think more emphasis needs to be put on passing (with both feet) and less emphasis on the tactical aspects.

Also i have seen this where the person who makes the pass first will run onto the ball and sprint to the other end so they all get to move or the first player starting the drill stays stagnent
