Great video, as always! I found it very informative. I have a question: I fast until 2:00 PM every day, but I'm trying to gain weight without developing a big gut. However, I seem to be losing weight consistently. I also suffer from PMOS and kidney stones, and I'm not sure if that affects my situation. Do you have any advice that could help me?

My doctor was pressuring me to eat breakfast even though I’m not hungry when I wake up. I’m almost 50 and my bloodwork was impeccable. So I’m gonna just continue not eating breakfast 😁

Can’t keep up with every time you change your opinion
@frankcentofanti9317I eat eggs , coffee ,and one slice of bread with peanut buttet and little bit of strawberry jam without added sugar. Not forcing myself. I feel very good , going like this for years
@SorinCroSo when should you have lunch if you skip breakfast?
@zackZ06Z06It doesn't have much to do with breakfast, day, noon , night , timing of meal rather it's dependant on the state of the stomach. Stomach doesn't care what time of day it is , all it cares is how full it is. If you ate protein , fat at night , large meal at night your stomach would still be in digesting the night's food, if you add more food on top of it your stomach is going to have hard time, more energy is going to be diverted to stomach, lethargy sluggishness will kick in , your other organs would feel weak as long as stomach doesn't clear up. If you ate just bit of vegetables as night meal your stomach will be empty by morning and you will be hungry in morning and if you eat light meal again you won't feel sluggish because your stomach was empty already. There might still be blip in energy, but not excessive. To get more energy skipping first meal delaying the fast is most optimal, but recognize that it's dependant upon how full or empty your stomach is , not related to what time of day it is
@amelioratepsychHow many people watching this video and thinking that I break my fast at midnight!!! Smh
@jobinthomas25Even if it's just an egg breakfast
@hanyhmoda4750They made breakfast to destory us
@appletherapyI’ve just had an eczema flare up due to all of those breakfast foods I’ve been eating. I’ll try this for 2 weeks and update everyone! If I remember. I’ll update daily if I remember lol.
Day 0: The skin on my face feels rough and itchy, the skin on my body is full of those tiny keratosis pilaris bumps that only appear after a flare up. In the morning, I’ll drink turmeric tea to calm down my inflammation since I don’t like tablets.
2:10 can I say that skipping dinner can help you earlier enter the fasting state? so a meal a day is preferred?
@happyxu-nq3hk1:10 Why does insulin slow our metabolism?
@happyxu-nq3hk0:55 What does it mean by bring up?Bring a Point that you are against?
@happyxu-nq3hkDr. Berg provides great insights into the benefits of skipping breakfast, especially in the context of intermittent fasting. His points on metabolism, insulin response, and typical breakfast foods causing cravings are well-explained. The benefits of fasting, such as autophagy, brain cell regeneration, and reduced inflammation, make a strong case for giving it a try. However, it's always important to consider individual health needs before making dietary changes. Great video!
@YourhealthcopI have skipped breakfast for a long time and my diet is decent but my cholesterol tested 335. And a calcium scores show increasing calcium in my heart. Now I hear that some studies show that skipping breakfast decreased cardio vascular health. What gives?

@jugjones3210Dr Berg, Do also discuss the hormonal imbalance issues many women face from skipping breakfast or from doing OMAD. I-F impacts men & women differently
@gksurabhiOne size fits NO ONE!! I never liked eating breakfast. I like to break my fast after noon. Started doing this on Sundays because I would be getting dinner ready and knew I’d be having a huge meal around 4.
61 and still kicking!❤
Sounds like I could use this as change spot, because there is chat about how your body "lives" out of changing timings.
I could say that I might have some problems with my liver.

@MO-fg2cmThankyou so much doctor your videos speak the truth in this world full of junk science content the only channel i can rely on for facts and accurate info is yours. I am glad I got your video in my feed❤
@NishaSingh08In this video you didnt take into consideration the morning cirtisol factor
@directajithIt's not even about fasting for me, I just feel better and can control my appetite better throughout my day. Its easier to listen to my body to eat when I want to eat or that I'm actually hungry and not just eating cause someone said you have to eat breakfast.
@DASsoulstrykerI just take a light breakfast thats all
@wh8664Why not skip dinner?
@kamui4708Is it fine to have 1cup of tea with milk in morning during intermittent fasting
@Techtips200The magical words Dr. Berg said in this video are, "If you're not hungry don't eat." The idea that we need three square meals a day is a fallacy. Too often, we eat because others are eating — not because we are hungry. Try it folks, you'll lose weight and lower your A1C. It worked for me.
@rvalens2Because I don't like to skip breakfast, I do skip dinner instead and it makes me sleep well. My last meal is always at 2pm, then my breakfast the next morning 🎉❤
@ChurchBlayHello doctor, there are studies showing cardiovascular diseases if you skip breakfast. What’s your take on it?
