24 HOURS Eating the BEST TAPAS in MADRID
Video Overview & Insights
Madrid was by far one of my favorite cities I've been in. I'm a forever city gal and there was something about the food, the people, and beautiful cityscape has completely made me fall in love with Madrid. (It may or may not be the power of all the churros and puros but shhhh ) It would be a dream to one day be able to live here.
Loved Madrid so much we actually ended up postponing our flight and coming back to spend a week in the city to explore during Pride Week :)
Here are some additional recommendations of the places I loved
Casa Gerado - my god their cheese and wine selection... I will be going back to film it but I swore to myself that my second visit I wouldn't film
Africa Ndiambour Restaurante - Sengalese (Try their mafe!)
Posada de la Villa - Castilian restaurant
Byblos - Lebansese
Jam - Fusion Tavern
Bar Benteveo - Breakfast is so bomb
Restaurante Don Pulpo - octopus that will just melt in your mouth
Cafeteria Neila - very cute deli
Here are the list of places we visited!

The way you enjoy food makes you more Spanish than my father, who is a picky eater.

As a native of Madrid, I congratulate you on your video and for showing the real, typical places in Madrid where we Madrileños go to eat our churros with chocolate at a bar or a churrería and where we eat tapas, unlike the videos that always show the Chocolatería San Ginés, which I've only been to twice in my entire life because sometimes you have to wait in line for 15 or 20 minutes to eat some churros with chocolate and I'm not willing to wait that long, or they show the Mercado de San Miguel, which doesn't have any typical tapas; that's a place for tourists because if you eat 4 or 5 tapas there, it can cost you 30 euros.

@antonioneiro4948Si en Madrid no hay tapas y además todo carísimo
@juancarloscamposvega5246I know to ask for four of everything please haha.... Mmmmm churros
@jayjarman1674Beautiful girl and beautiful family !! God bless you Bella!! John 3 16
@melaniesmith652The churros shape, is cos they used to be sold in bunches in a round straw like chord,,, and the were aligned in them... usually from bread stores with a fryer, just like the one in Santa ana,,, who also has the great Crisps!!!
Porras are meant to be eaten with liquid chocolate milk, or café con leche, cos it sucks up the liquid, so you eat your coffea, drink it with a crunchy crust!
El vermouth, is a greek invention, and tweeked and made famous by Italy,,, but it came to spain from a cold versión of mulled wine from germany, except, we made it fresh and adapted to our taste, instead of hot, and it was a great way to do with not very good wine plus ajenjo/absynth, botanical and spices...
We mixed it with "Sifón" or dry soda tonic water, and a lick of orange peel to reduce it and make it, less sweet, frizzy and fresh.... and less "dangerous ;", when you try to walk to the next spot, and so you can have a couple!
sOMEHOW YOU NAILED SPANISH FOOD....Its simple and based on good ingredients.... no hidding flavours with lots of sauce
good that you have gone to a propper bar bar..and not a touristy spot or designy....
we never cared for that... you allways choose where you see locals, taxist or truckers... you kinow you are in the right spot
Love love your vibe ❤❤
@ItsMojiMLOVE THIS!
@guavatidbitsteam churros o team porras?
@Thelife8819Puro is a cigar. haha! Those are called Porras. They're good! And you also have the option of adding sugar to your churros if you want. Madrid is home for me. I love it too! If you go back I'd recommend Taverna de La Copla- a great bar for drinks and tapas and they are very friendly. And also La Negra Tomasa, an amazing Cuban restaurant. Delicious food and mojitos and live music every night!
@christopherpaul7588Madrid is beautiful ❤❤❤
@Pablo260492I wpuld blow my load on u
@SaraBourbonNightYou should just be a striper 😂🎉
@ariellevy3074Thank you for leaving in the construction noises. And telephone ringings, people talking, cars passing etc. Many vlogs cover noises with classy background music, but after watching a few of those, the city sounds very fake. I enjoy the raw Madrid sounds in this video.
@TarunoNafsCool video! One thing, it's porras (make sure to roll those rs) not puros. A "puro" in Spanish a cigar, totally different. Also, it's madrileños (ñ is important), not madrianos
@hearthstiaMakes me crave churrooooooooooooooooooooooooossss!!!!
@gennicadeleon4225This video made me sad/nostalgic out of nowhere. It’s sad to see how capitalism and mass tourism are destroying all these beautiful places, foods and traditions. Each day there’s a small business that closes and gets replaced by a big supermarket, restaurant chain or mall. It’s getting harder day by day to find a place to drink a basic cafe con leche and have a cheap breakfast, cuz now everyone is obsessed by “brunch” culture and fancy drinks, which I am too, but since those are typically owned by big chains/companies or american people that have a much higher wage, there is no way that they can compete with the locals, not even with the price of the rents, which we can no longer access.
It’s so beautiful to see all this culture be portrayed and enjoyed, I really hope that we don’t lose it, even though I feel like we are starting to🥹 thank you for showing it!
1:40 BOMBOCLATTTT🔥🔥🔥🔥
@goniono9436Should’ve seen this hungry… joder
@dycruz13Is not porros, is porras,there is big diference, look it up
@ignaciovalea4054It's Porras not Puros xD I love Porras with Coffee

@billdelunalewis7171Hi !!! I recommend you visit Valencia and eat a really paella 🥘 and all the real history about it. Paella was born by rice farmers and they add ingredients they had. Check the Barraca Toni Montoliu and Casa Carmela. Really paella full of locals, no tourist
