I completely disagree on China town. There are some really good restaurants there with authentic Asian food. Not a tourist trap at all. But I do agree that bagel place is pretty good!

No Heathrow and Gatwick are FAR easier to get to London from than Stansted or Luton. In fact Stansted avoid like the plague! Heathrow is best place to get from, as you have a main train line, and an Underground line which gets into the heart of the London in about 40 mins

Heathrow express. A bit pricier than Piccadilly line but plenty of room for luggage, not crowded, and I think it’s 15min to London. then we take taxi from there to hotel.

British food is Indian food and Italian food. Both of which are flavourful and healthy. There's always French food in London as well due to the culinary customs. Traditional British food is harder to find and takes longer to make. You would have to go to places like Rules (which is in Covent Garden). I'm surprised you went to Brick Lane and only found a bagel to eat (though that bagel place is reputably good).

Good to see an American, the Home of tastless food, saying there is no good food in London. Absoloute tosh.

Also i know you want to plug your WI FI provider, but there is EXCELLENT free WI FI all over the place.

I'm from the UK but not London part Yeah I'm planning to visit in 1 or 2 years I don't know what it's going to be like they're at that year but I've been told that getting the train if you book it in advance it can cost like 30 to 50 70 quid maybe and I know it takes like 4-5 hours to get there on the train but to be honest I've been told by the time you get through security on the plane and things like that it just takes like the same amount of time it's only an hour in the air when you go through the security in the bags packing I've been told that when you're you come off the train your actually take a while to get into certain part of London you want to get to and I've also been told getting the trains just about the same amount of time of getting a plane it's only an hour in the air it's not actually like they say so I would rather get the train that's my my kind of thing to do because I would enjoy it even though it would take like 4 or 5 hours I would be prepared with headphones and cards and things like that just to take with me to keep myself satisfied probably take a nap on it it takes you more in the middle of London when you get a train to I would really prefer to get a train another thing I was told was the Harry potter studio isn't actually in London I was convinced because it was called that I was that it was actually in London but it's not it's actually quite far away from London but also been told if you are huge Harry potter fan to actually go there and that's one of my main parts about going to London in 2026 or 27 is to wear my Harry potter tops and things like that and Gryffindor scarves and hats and gloves under my Daniel Radcliffe tops I mean I'm really just like being me and if nobody likes it then it's just it's whatever I'm confident you know so I would love to know that stuff down there I have even got a Harry potter suitcase I'm taking there I've always been a fan of harry potter that's one of the main reasons why I'm going there and obviously I need information on the best hotels to stay and I've been told some of them are good but then the reviews are actually like the disgusting the rooms are too small and I've also seen a good reviews on them but more bad ones than good ones I looked up some that Daniel Radcliffe died and they look amazing like the Mayfair one is supposed to be really good and so is the JW Marriott I think it's called so when I become an actress I'm playing on going I'm also playing on getting with the agency done in Radcliffe was with as well which is artist rights group I actually love this video it's very interesting once gave me a lot of information thanks

Completely disagree with the food comments. There is incredible Indian, Jamaican and Nigerian food. Also china town has incredible Chinese food it’s highly authentic though not American Chinese so they might be why you didn’t like it. Also WiFi is not a problem in London anywhere so not sure why you had issues. Love the videos but those comments were waaay off base.

There is now phone service in parts of the underground but wouldn't rely on it as you may get cut off!

US tourists rely on taxis and Ubers too much. Use public transport. Londoners manage it daily.

A lot of weird advice here. Heathrow is way closer to Central London than the other two airports mentioned here and do not get a cab public transport is fine . There is good food everywhere in London if you do a bit of research. This is an outdated myth that hasn't been true since the 80s.

I disagree with Chinatown. I live in Los Angeles and spent two weeks in China last year and Kung Fu Noodle and Funky Noodle with their hand-pulled noodles were AMAZING!

I rarely comment on YT but. I am fairly well travelled - from NYC to Tokyo and many places in between - and I can tell you that London is my favourite place in the world to eat. Yes, you heard that right. From dim sum in Chinatown, to Indian flavours in Tooting, Thai food everywhere, and everything in between. We have amazing bakeries, hole in the wall places, michelin star restaurants. Did you ever go to south London, Crystal Palace for example? Amazing Caribbean food, bakeries, north African cuisine etc etc etc. I do like most of your points but I think it's a bit ignorant to stay in zone 1 and then complain about the expensive, poor quality food. That's like staying in Midtown NYC and complaining about the expense there. Like thinking Richmond isn't in London? It's not even that far out of the centre, it's literally called the London Borough of Richmond. I will accept that London is expensive. But so is NYC and Toronto and Singapore and I could go on. I will say that I have lived in London for ten years now and know the place pretty damn well, but check out Top Jaw for amazing food blogs about London and why it's one of the best places to eat in the world :) :)

I think the travel advice here is a little off. The best airport to fly into is Heathrow for international tourists, unless you're coming from Europe as the border control tends to be fastest. NEVER use a taxi to get to the city centre; they're exorbitant and no-one British ever uses them unless they have to. Instead, try the public overground (not underground) trains; these are fairly cost effective and take around half an hour into London Paddington. This is in the city centre and if you want a black cab ride, they're just outside - and they'll be about 30 miles cheaper. From Paddington, most central city tube stations are accessible with a ten minute ride, and you don't even need to buy a ticket - just tap in and tap out on the scanners with Apple or Google Pay, or a contactless bank card. It works the fare out for you. The Elizabeth Line from Heathrow also goes through the city centre - right in - and most hotels will be around a five to ten minute walk from most of those stations AND they're all step-free access with bags.

Some of the underground now has WiFi. Even on the trains.

London is massively overrated on all levels, traffic , traffic oh my god it's a disaster that's getting worse and worse . There's a lot of crime, a lot of gangs. Most places are overrated , prices I would never pay ....., when I first saw London, I thought it would be better to how they make you believe it is . There's graffiti on most buildings and bridges and motorways feels like a druggie town with crime and gangs.

London has litter, rubbish everywhere , the motorways going in I noticed were filthy and items and trash everywhere . London makes you feel unwelcomed and property in London is def a crime absolutely .

You can get to Central London from Heathrow by The Elizabeth Line, London Underground or Paddington Express, all are cheaper and take less time to get to Central London than a taxi, the one thing I would never ever advise tourist to do is take a taxi from Heathrow to Central London. Its about 12 miles just to get from Central London to Heathrow and the traffic is likely to be horrendous as you would expect from a city of almost 9.5 million people and thus the taxi fare is likely to cost the tourist at least £65. Your better off getting a bus than a taxi as although it will take longer than a taxi, it will be a damn sight cheaper.
