Don’t be premed. Medicine is the worst path for a human being. Wait until you work 90-110 hours a week for $65,000 for SEVEN YEARS of your life WHILE STUDENT LOANS DOUBLE AND TRIPLE with compounding interest. It’s literally like giving yourself a decade of prison time. Don’t do it to yourself. Be a PA or NP start making bank at 24 working 30-40 hours a week -$90,000-$150,000. It’s amazing.

hiii I'm going into my sophomore year!! I feel like this is such an awkward in between year where it's not as "whimsy and fun and exploring" as freshman year but not as "serious" as junior year. I didn't do enough extracurriculars and didn't do amazing in my classes last year so I'm a bit nervous, but PRAYING for an amazing sophomore year.

17:54 - Senior Year

I’m a junior in high school, and I’m looking to go into palliative care/hospice. The death of my mother reinforced this interest. I’m just worried that medical isn’t the right track for me bc I have a lot of other hobbies (but hospice is something I’m passionate about). I’m also wondering about the life balance in med school. Do you personally find opportunities to do stuff for yourself or with friends?

Edit: Do u think biomedical sciences is a good major?

I have a type A high school sophomore her only concern right now is her autoimmune disorder she hasn’t been able to participate in many activities she played volleyball freshmen year and then was told to stop and now she’s learning tennis for her sophomore season. Do you think she can apply to college without a long list of extracurriculars or will that hurt her ? chances ?

Hello, I am currently a junior high school student, and I wanted to know how difficult the pre-med courses actually are. Sometimes, I get a little nervous thinking about how difficult the courses may be. So, based on your experience, were the courses on an extremely high level of difficulty, or were there specific courses that you would label as being very difficult, and how would you recommend I prepare for these courses?
