People need to stop considering movies failures if they don't immediately turn a profit in a theater. We need to take the long view. Movies that are later considered must-sees (e.g. The Thing) are surely making their owners money now.

25:52 Sharp Corner: Tense Thriller Hidden in Plain Sight

Consistently poor delivery and jokes so flat they make pancakes look obese.

Quite enjoyed Sovereign. It's a slow build but does a good job empathizing with the type of person who would embrace a cultural movement like Sovereign Citizenship, and builds to a tense final 20 minutes.

I'm definitely gonna watch "If I Had Legs I'd Kick You" eventually. Even if it's not for me, NOTHING is gonna stop me from seeing Conan O'Brien playing a dramatic role!!!

@Jeremy3825-u7k

Had to turn off The Surfer. It was just absolute bollocks. I love Nic Cage too.

Sisu 2, 28 Years Later, Sinners, Steve, Black Bag, Bugonia, The Roses, Warefare, and The Long Walk were all personal hits for me last year.

This year has started strong with Bone Temple, but understand people didn’t much like 28YL

@FlashGawdumb
@

Roofman was so bad. It was unfunny, poorly paced, and very boring.

@AcloneofEthan
@

Dead of Winter was great and surprisingly emotional. Emma Thompson is excellent in everything she does.

@jtarwa4088

Sam Elliott has the best mustache on Hollywood's history and is a fact.

@AndresLeal79

for the first time in about 40 years, i did not went to cinema a single time. so 2025 sucked.

@jarigustafsson7620

Very good collection, very well presented IF you can listen but somehow avoid looking at that off putting moustache. 😂😂

I can’t wait to see Pillion - when it comes out in February

@thejenmath
@

Code 3 is easily the best 2025 movie for me, sadly ignored and overlooked by the majority, but wow what a movie. Rainn Wilson at his very best.

@TommyUK74
@

I hadn"t heard of Pillion. Made less than a million, well, looks like it apparently was a hit with its target audience. Who expected that to sell, or did they just make it for fun?

@BirkGed
@

19:28 Ben Mendelsohn,YES!!! Pedro Pascal, oh, no... Tom Hanks, Fast forward...

@mc26collum

''Sharp Corner'' was great.

@Glenrsi
@

Sisu 2 is kinda bad, especially when compared to the first

@simogenic
@

Train Dreams is a slog of movie that has absolutely no plot. There’s actually too much hype for this movie.

@bsilvers1037
@

OBAA was actually so bad i couldnt finish it

@robnb17

Zoinks!

@ShawnLongfield

"Put William H Macy in more movies please." Well said.

This has to be one of the best lists I've seen. I watched Dead of Winter recently and I urge everyone to watch it. It's currently available for free on Amazon Prime. Emma Thompson's performance is phenomenal - definitely Oscar worthy. I'd also recommend Locked. Personally, I think Sir Anthony Hopkins is at his acting best when he's playing someone psychotic and deranged. He's clearly having a ball here.

@alisonn7200
@

Sisu 2 certainly came and went - my local cinema literally had one or two showings at 10pm I couldn’t get to, and that was it

@The_Rancor
@

Freaky Tales was great if only to see Gulch playing Black Flag songs.

@joevampire
@

I avoided caught stealing because they filmed in my nehiborhood an they were real dicks to the people that live here. They were beyond rude and were twlling people they couldnt walk past where they were filming even though people needed to GET INTO THEIR APARTMENTS. the crew's behavior was so gross it made me not want to watch the movie.

@vampmoon
@

I couldn't get through Roof Man. It was an insanely irritating movie.

@TheBullBrickner
@

Shit. The 90s really was 30 years ago

@DaLumpy1
@

I saw 13/20 at the cinema last year. I Swear was one of my films of the year. I don't think If I Had Legs is even out yet as it's still being trailered. Another one that went under most people's radar last year, but was one of my favourites, was the the brilliantly quirky Sister Midnight.

@daveperry7050
@

I enjoyed the surfer, but then again, I love nicholas cage!

@tsambikasabineiakovidis7755
@

roofman is like a hallmark movie... not bad... but not great

@tsambikasabineiakovidis7755
@

This is a pretty great list. Have seen some of these and the ones I haven't are on my short list.

@rickybobbysdriver555
@

well i missed them because their bad movies

@Jimbo123-h8
@

And the award for the worst, most nonsensical segue goes to “On the Way”.
This sounded out of place the first video it was used in and now it’s just annoying.

@LaPetitWookiee
@

This is the worst list of movies that could have been overlooked.

@leonardmorais6689
@

Twinless was movie of the year. I saw it twice over the course of 3 days.

@walkerO97
@

I think Hulu's Summer of 69 was overlooked :).

@KyleWillLivingston
@

The Life of Chuck should have made the list. I definitely recommend it!!

@curtislindsey1736
@

If I Had Legs I'd Kick You was an incredibly hard watch and totally amazing at the same time.
Rose Byrne's performance was outstanding.

@Jinky_11
@

I haven't seen or even heard of most of these, but I agree that "Black Bag" and "Die, My Love" were great. "Die, My Love" being great in a dark, artful, thought-provoking way, not like, "Woooo, here's a fun pick for movie night!!"
