1970s Children's TV Shows That You've Probably Forgotten Part 1

Video Overview & Insights

1970s Children's TV Show intro's That you've Probably Forgotten.

Took me back to my childhood, sitting on the sofa waiting for magic roundabout to say time for bed, my signal to go to bed before the 6 o'clock news, so my dad could watch it in peace. Oh happy days, anyone else remember all the words?😅

— @denisenoble4010

Including: Trumpton, Magpie, Captain Pugwash and more.

I hope they bring back as many happy memories for you as they have for me...

These titles of programmes (for obvious reasons to me) are 100% nostalgia for me. My dad sadly passed away on the 19th October 23. I've struggled to learn to smile and laugh again as a direct result. These kids programmes that we all remember watching back then has put a smile back on my face. The old days, back when life was simple!!

— @russelhazzard7089

Please somebody invent a time machine and let me hitch a ride back to this magical time.

Happy days!

Very first one is Chigley, my dog’s name 😊

Bagpuss and camblewick green used to scare the life out me me and I’d hide behind the sofa 😂

Bagpuss was a classic, the first song from the "Mouse Mill" episode still makes me cry. Back then I wanted to be a Fireman based on watching Trumpton, well they never did attend any actual Fires. Rainbow annoyed me, even when I was 5 I thought George was gay and Zippy was annoying. Magic Roundabout was a classic till they ruined it with that 2007 movie, Kylie Minogue as Florence? Eh?!

60 years old and the 70s tv shows were quite enjoyable, educational and fun to watch. Even the commercials back then made more sense then nowadays commercials.but according to a 16 year old kid 20 years ago..it's for old people..even the music.wait til that kid is my age..lol.are your kids as stupid as this kid??

@MichaelHomeniuk
@

Trumpton, Chinley and Camberwick green all date from the 1960s. Not the 70s

@johncoles-pw4qx
