A VHS tape that was donated to me. Watch some classic commercials from the 1950s and 1960s. This was part of a set in the early 1990s in which old commercials were recorded called "Classic Commercials" series by Video Resources, NY, Inc.

The VHS tape was captured using a Panasonic AG-1980p Player. A Elgato Game Capture HD Device with a passthrough of the Panasonic DVD Recorder DMR-ES15S has used to transfer the information into a computer.

The night before cigarette commercials were banned on tv they had a special that showed every cigarette commercial ever aired.

There was a RED CROSS TV commercial 1964? Had a man sing a RED CROSS solo for it and ended with >>'the RED CROSS is always there.." Came out about the time KODAK had its "Turn Around "TV commercial. Might have been the same singer.

The Flinstones reminds me that my parents could send me to the store to purchase a pack of their favorite cigarette brands (Pall Mall and Salem). I was about 8 or none and a pack cost about a quarter then (1965).

A time before electric skillets.... I love how Power Fuel gave you a quick - and primarily accurate - lesson in how your car engine works. I think they gave consumers credit for a little more mechanical know-how, back then. Of course, Back Then you could work on your own engine without $25k worth of computer diagnostic equipment.
