Another dry and settled day is on the way, with plenty of sunshine and temperatures a little higher than yesterday for many areas. Northern Scotland may see increasing cloud and some rain later, while a few heavy showers could develop in the southwest during the afternoon. Elsewhere, it will stay warm and sunny, with highs reaching around 25°C, although a northerly breeze will keep eastern Scotland and northeast England a little cooler.
