I made today's episode for a specific group: people who want to make money! This isn't going to be a bunch of inspirational quotes or your run-of-the-mill hustle & grind platitudes. What you'll get by watching this video are the 13 most important rules on making money, period.
The number one rule is to learn to be invaluable to whoever you work for by learning other peoples job beside the one you do, more skills, more value and more value means you have a better chance of not losing your jobs when cuts come, that way you have more productive time to earn your seed money. I always worked long hours and sacrificed so that I would not have to work (I am actually lazy), I retired the first time at 29.
These lessons have lead me to making multiple millions of dollars, and it could help you do the same. I started collecting these lessons by taking notes from everyone who had more money than I did, and when I started out, that was a lot of people! I kept those notes in a growing list that eventually grew to about 130. But nobody has 7 hours to watch a video, so I'm breaking it down to the most important for you today. And even better? The first thing to unlearn is one of the most pernicious phrases from dubious financial experts: "passive income." It doesn't exist. There's such thing as investment income, but that's not exactly passive. I'm going to tell you the difference and how you can start recognizing when you're falling into the trap of unrealistic goals & systems.

I’ve never seen my wife eyes light up like that I’ve been trying to get my wife to take a risk in life close to 50 years old, trying to reach financial freedom not retired because you want to stay we have a little money we’re not rich, but she admired you so much. Should I go to college and get a financial education or is that something I can learn at home reading books and going on YouTube? @Nottoday3033I was in India in 2006 and I took my team to lunch at a nearby restaurant. It was a nice place, but there was a restaurant on the top floor of the building that was high class. I was talking to my team about making a reservation in the high class restaurant when a non-descript gentleman offered his opinion. He was dressed in shorts, a dingy t-shirt and sandals. After my team left, he and I had a bit of conversation. Because he was so knowledgeable, I asked him if he owned the high class restaurant. He said "No. I own the building." Talk about dressing down for success!

@simplyhomedewHello Codie. I'm a disability retired Systems Analyst and I began an LLC years ago that didn't go well; it has since gone out of business. I've now regrouped and I've got a couple of ideas for patents; one I intend to sell to an investor, the other I'll keep. I don't intend to endure the process of getting patents immediately. Initially I plan to file two provisional patent applications. I fully intend to sell one while it's covered by the provisional patent application. I then plan to pursue an actual patent for my second idea with the proceeds of the sale from the first. Are you at all familiar with patent sale negotiation?
