Not sure if something has changed since you uploaded this video but I can’t seem to get the “Ultimate battery saver” shortcut to work.
I even added it to my control center but when I click on it it shows “loading” briefly in the dynamic island and then crashes.
Anything I’m missing ?

12:51 when I bought my 13 mini, for like a month, I wasn’t closing my apps. But I learned that most third party apps close after a couple of hours and when you open them, they are going to launch again “from the start”. It may be because it’s an older iPhone, but now, I close apps that I know I am not going to use again for at least two days, and keep open apps, that I use daily.

Few days back I had this weird issue. 3 months old iPhone 16 Pro Max begun draining battery like crazy despite all these tips, from 40% for 24 hours to like 200% (I had to charge twice a day without any intense usage). In the end I had to back up my phone to the Mac erase it and restore it from the backup.

Great video. But there is one thing to point out at 16:56 you gave a url to set the auto lock to 30 seconds you don't need that as low power mode in iPhone automatically sets the auto lock to 30 seconds

Great video. However, I strongly encourage you to change the thumbnail of your video. While your tips help to prevent sudden battery loss, there is no way to “gain back battery.” It is standard for iPhone (lithium ion) batteries to degrade overtime, and the tips you provided will help but as batteries degrade, they lose their ability to hold a full charge. Not saying your battery-saving tips are bad, just your thumbnail is a bit misleading as some people could think that they can restore their battery to prevent drainage, which is simply not possible. Besides that, keep up the good work!

Also app updates shouldn’t be allowed to turn background app refresh back on again, I’ve had that happen too.

I've already tried most of them and still, I end the day (~18h) with around 20 % battery left, BUT I only used my 15 Pro (not Max) for only 1 to 2h ... I'm on WiFi the whole time.
I would expect 5h of usage, but then it would only last the half day, is my expectation just too high?
I'm not using my phone because of this ... (well, at least it stopped my social network "addiction" ... lol)
