This vid's a month old, but you need to check out "This House Possessed", a 1981 TV movie about a house that's....ah....too protective of the daughter of its former owners. It stars a post-Hardy Boys Lisa Eilbacher and Parker Stevenson, and it's both goofy and creepy as hell. You might need to skip past the opening of Parker attempting to sing a rock song, but after that, it's pure schlock creepiness. 😂

i.e. "The Reptile" scared the hell outta me as a young lad! I found the premise far more frightening than even most vamp fliks and it wasn't until Russell's '88 "Lair of the White Worm" before we got another "were-reptile/snake" based spooky tooth. As for that little ditty, it too was excellent, though the "Constable & Bag-pipe" scene far outstayed its welcome! :)

Watched the "Mill of the Stone Woman" this week and it was quite entertaining ...sort of a cross between "Re-Animator" and "A Bucket of Blood".

My favorite era of horror. I've seen several of these but there's a number of them here that I still need to see. . . But will. 😉

"Black Sabbath" is a classic- especially the final story with Boris Karloff as a vampire. "The Gorgon" is equally fantastic.

I just watched ' the evil ' the other day on pooptube and I realized I thought I'd seen all the obscure, macabre, terrible, Gothic, nightmarish, weird, spooky, crazy horror movies. Until I watched it. And thought ' this one is a mixture of madness and lunacy ' it was ridiculous and entertaining.🍿🍿👉🍿

I was gonna go and watch, "The Attic", until you ruined the ending for me. I know that it is an old movie, but they're people still discovering these treasures. I love your channel, anyways.

This brings back a lot of memories. I grew up watching this type of Gothic Entertainment. The Made For T.V Movies are really impressive, some of them could have been theatrical releases. Good Actors and Good Stories equalled Classic Entertainment . They don't make them like that anymore.

I saw Cry of the banshee in the theater MANY years ago. LOVED IT!

There's a movie I saw on TV at least 40 years ago that I've been trying to find.I think it was from the early 70s, and it involved s guy who somehow entered a vacant store on a dingy city street and wound up trapped in a sort of chamber of horrors with traps and so forth. When he finally escaped he was insane, walking the street trying to warn people. Sound at all familiar?

😮😮Omg. This is so freaky. I was about to go out and thought I would just have a quick look at YouTube while I waited for my phone to charge and what do you know!!! I had been thinking about posting a question to you and the people who watch about a movie I saw when I was little but I couldn't remember what it was. And it just showed up here. All I remembered were the body parts wrapped in brown paper. Asylum. I usually don't forget Robert Powell as he has a real intensity about him and does weird stuff. Scared the crap out of me. And the other movie I searched for as I had seen it as a teen but can't remember where or how, that also weirded me out was also on this list - Dead and Buried. Two mysteries solved in one vid! I do have other fragments of unknown movies I am dying to rediscover but have no way to find. One has a knight riding through an autumn forest on a black horse and that is al I remember but something makes me think it was Finnish? wtf. My brain is full of...stuff. Lol.
Mind blown. I could have sworn I had re-watched all Amicus productions many times but somehow I missed the key movie with the unnerving body parts?

“The Asylum” was the movie anthology I’d been looking for forever. Only thing I remember was the robot people and the one getting squished and they found the guy in his room squished. I finally got it on DVD a few months ago.

I think Amicus is great, their anthologies are my gold standard. I don't know how they signed up their great cast and directors. I saw Asylum as a massive Charlotte Rampling fan, but stayed for all the other actors and stories.

I remember on our youth renting The Evil not knowing what we were getting into and being blown away by how good it was. I definitely needs more love. Black Sabbath is a classic and Dead and Buried was very good. The Gorgonzola was entertaining enough.

I've seen "The Gorgon" several times. I've always been a fan of Christopher Lee and I love his movies with Peter Cushing, although, in this case, I do agree with the comment about "Don't go looking for logic here"

Check out Werewolf Woman. That's a weird, slow burn that doesn't make sense near the end. Is she actually a werewolf or is it all psychological?
