In this video I show you 13 amazing places near Bangkok that you've never heard of. all locations are justa short day trip from the city and include amazing beaches, waterfalls, jungles and temples

The Bangkok Yai Canal area is genuinely underrated. Most people never leave Sukhumvit but the old canal neighborhoods on the west side are a completely different Bangkok. Great list, hadn't heard of half of these.

The Talat Phlu shout-out is well earned. Most Bangkok guides stop at On Nut and call it "local." Phlu actually has the old canal market, the coffee shops with wooden shophouses, and you can park a scooter anywhere without a second thought. Worth the extra 20 minutes south.

All sad is ok but you didnt mention how hot and humid is the wether and how strongnis the sun. This city is hell not worthed to be visit for more than 2 days. I book hotel here for 9 days and it is very dissapointing noise dirty place that feels like sauna. Avoid going to bangkok !

Seriously outstanding video with very cool suggestions. Fun suggestions and perfect for hiring a driver for the day to mix in and see a few things. As a photographer I am always interested in the best time of day for photos.. Some temples and water markets are better in the morning and others in late afternoon and evening for lighting up the area. It would be great in the future if you made that suggestion. Middle of the day is always the worst. You dod a great job, thanks.

JFYI - Bridge on the River Kwai film from the 1950s, not the 1930s! Otherwise great effort

I can’t believe I didn’t know about any of these places before! I’m planing my vacations in Bangkok for September and been looking for more options to visit around the city, this video was super helpful, definitely adding most of them to my itinerary, thank you for the video! ❤️

Excellent suggestions. If I may add a recommendation, once you are done biking around Bang Krachao, there's a really nice Japanese onsen nearby called Yunomori onsen which I love taking a soak in after a days worth of biking. They also have a cafe, spa and a simple "chillout" room.

My memory of Bangkok is of a 8 year old girl traveling with her parents from the Netherlands to New Zealand in 1961 and spending a night at a hotel. We had a city walk and bit of a walk around. Lovely unknown fruit ( yep the old days were different back then 🤣) to leave the next day for the continuation of our journey. Planes didn't do 17 hour flights back then. Nice video as you see it brought back other sorts of memories for me. I enjoyed your Bangkok experience. I've since had a snake experience in Australia, that will do me for ever 🤣. 😎🇳🇱🙋‍♀🥝

What do you think we will travel in the middle in june, is it everyday Raining??

You would never get me out to the jungle there. The snakes alone would kill me pretty fast.
