TypeWhisper is absolutely free and it does exactly the same thing as ParaSpeech. It is also local and it is blazing fast. Literally. It uses Parakeet engine and it is absolutely stunning. In fact, I am dictating this comment right now using TypeWhisper.

In reality, it’s dangerous and, in many ways, malicious software that can easily break your macOS. Experienced users never recommend it. It has too many privileges and interferes with the system’s operation, which eventually breaks it—but you won’t notice it right away; it takes some time.

Commenting at the beginning of the video so I don't know if this is covered but I just downloaded scroll reverser after buying a mouse for my macbook. I guess the trackpad and mouse scrolling are connected so if you prefer one to be one way the other must also be that way. I bought a cheap logitech pebble mouse (one of those flat ones) and immediately ran into this problem along with some scrolling issues related to the scroll wheel. All my problems were fixed from scroll reverser

Thanks for sharing Revbox, it looks really good, it’s a real shame the iPad version needs iOS 26 though, as that would ruin my woekflow somewhat. Having a relatively new phone that is so slow after being updated I won’t upgrade until apple fix this. I can’t see what version of Mac the app works with. Anyone know? It seems most of the apps mentioned need the latest Mac OS too, as I’m running Sequia and won’t upgrade, it would have been really useful to mention this in the video or at least in the notes. It’s a shame the googly eyes use so many resources too, maybe they could be in the dock or elsewhere and use less. Just a thought.

Watching this from a new PC I bought for work. Waiting to buy a new Mac with M6 next year to get ready. lol. My last MBP was the 2020 intel one so I think upgrading to the latest at the end of the year is going to be mind blowing.
