like so last fall I started actually saying my affirmations out loud in the car (felt silly at first, ngl). Pretty sure it rewired something because now whenever I catch my brain spiraling, those same phrases just pop up on their own. Idk if it’s placebo or what, but it’s like muscle memory for my mindset now. Pairing that with a ten minute walk after breakfast = game changer for my mood (and I’m not even a morning person).

Some days, I just wake up and feel like I don't want to be alive. Like I've completely lost hope in life. I grab my phone, open Instagram, scroll for hours... and by the end of the day, I look at myself and realize I feel even more hopeless than before.

But if there's one thing I've learned, it's that I need rest days. I don't have to be perfect all the time. Some days, I just need to go to my friend's place and talk. I don't need to study, work, or make the day super productive.

Some days, I just need to take care of me. I feel deeply regretful for realizing this so late, but the book Woman He Can't Unsee by Kayla Dravert opened my eyes to everything about inner peace, glow up and feminine energy.

Thanks SOOO much for this video Downshift! I am about 40 lbs over weight and I needed this motivation!! I really need to drink more water as I love my beer. I will get out more on my Pony (bike) as well. I do love to ride. I think more water during the day will help me and I have Water Enhancer because I hate the taste of plain water. “Had not the Prophet Muhammad himself said, ‘O Servant of God, use medicine, because God hath not created a pain without a remedy for it’”?

Guthrie failed to quote the source of this important prophetic saying. But, it’s obvious that he was referring to the famous hadith from Tirmidhi.

As a matter of fact, there are several such sayings in which the Prophet laid great stress on medicine. He discouraged seeking help through amulets, relics, and charms.

The Prophet once said, “There is a remedy for every malady and when the remedy is applied to the disease, it is cured.”

This and several such hadiths are there in Bukhari, Muslim, and Abu Dawud.

A companion has once asked the Prophet, “Is there any good in medicine?” To this he emphatically replied, “Yes.”
