Let's think a moment, only 18% of the air we breathe is oxygen. The rest is nitrogen helium neon smog, xenon etc et cetera etc you can say about 89% of the year we breathe 82%. Yeah, 8181% of the air we breathe is nitrogen. So our tires are already filled with a substantial amount of nitrogen.The important fact to consider if you're going to go to the expense of doing pure nitrogen filling for your tires is that oxygen is a corrosive agent. it is an oxidizer. And its purpose is right there in the name of it oxygen oxidizer, so maybe your tires will last a year or 2 longer if you're buying super high-end tires, 11 years tire life might be preferable over 9 or 10 year tire life, how much does it cost to get an your tires filled up with nitrogen only. I never thought about that.I don't think I'm going to bother either.I get the cheapest tires.I can I use it for 3 to 5 years And then I get new ones, and I don't drop $3000 every time I get a set of 4 in fact, most recently, I only dropped $400 to get a set of 4\nPlus valves and mounting and balancing. My point is , if you're getting three thousand dollar tires and you want them to last as long as they possibly , can , you would probably want to consider using nitrogen fill. Imo, Ford should have been held most liable for the rollover fiasco. First, the Explorer had a high center of gravity and a narrow track that that made it far more prone to rollover than most other vehicles. Second, the recommended tire pressure was 26 psi. For a tire width of 225-235 and a vehicle pushing up to 4,000 lbs, that is way too low, and was rumored to have been picked to soften the ride.

Hahaha, you Michelin fanboy. I work for Michelin and all of those super tires are just super samples that failed testing so many times. They are not equivalent to what you buy. The engineers are stupid and learned nothing.
