I just found this video and I have to laugh. I had heard of Stilwell before. I used to deal heroin in my town that got routed though Stilwell. That was years ago, but still a funny coincidence.

"Try that in a small town" was actually an invitation rather than a warning.

I love how the "tax base" leaving is the problem. If no taxes, people could afford life. Government has never fixed, or made anything better.

Well, I was told by a couple who lived in Oklahoma that the government will pay you to become homeless. .even if you have a job.. also, alot of human trafficking happens underground everywhere west of Texas.. esp. Oklahoma

My rule while traveling, never let your gas tank go past 1/2 full! If possible leave early in the morning so you'll have at least 12 hours of sunlight! 😅

Government cannot fix these small town economies. Lots of businesses avoid very small towns because the profit margins are not there, plus crime rates drive potential investors away. Best thing is to abandon the town. Once it's near empty, crime should go down. State should clean up the town to attract investors, and they may come once it's near empty and can gentrify. There's not ever going to be enough tax money for services with poverty high and few businesses.

Why isn't this administration taking care of this outdated backward small town gangs and crime that you can't even stop for gasoline? That's really sad and I'm just now learning about sundown towns. What backward archaic disfunctional twilight zone scary stuff. That's America? I'm embarrassed . Thats really sad. Like a third world country.
