In 2025 Texas is tied with Florida with the most homes for sale and the real estate market is collapsing, especially in Austin. The tech companies are moving out of Texas. Sometimes having a radical state government isn't a good idea. Or investors messing around with home ownership. Imagine that.

@clarkmorgan1151You should have also mentioned the Texas UIL as part of #6. If you're a new family with kids, and want them to experience creativity and amazing elective support in school (Not just athletics, but also fine arts, music, etc), Texas UIL is an incredible system to foster creativity in children. While there are pieces of the Texas education system that absolutely need work, the UIL system is world class, and objectively the most streamlined and best designed athletic/academic/elective system in the nation for school kids - even homeschooled and private school children can attend and compete on teams with public school students. I don't think any state comes remotely close to offering what UIL does.
@rexiebunnyTerrible healthcare low wages high property taxes housing is the same as anywhere else. Traffic congestion in big cities and vast nothing land polluted beaches. Isolation from the rest of the world in a giant waste land with no regard for the environment or its residents. Dust storms humid weather and hot hot hot
@SmokinZenThe narrator is hating on San Antonio, Tx. 3 hrs away from Houston and 1 hour away from Austin.
@YourDaddy-zs3nzWhen you disparaged our crime rate here in Texas, you neglected to mention that we're a Constitutional Carry state, and we're able to protect ourselves, unlike many of those immigrating from blue states. And, while touching on "things to do" - you neglected our state's number one tourist city; San Antonio. This was a weak presentation of the great state of Texas!
@DavidRice111Not everybody is moving to Texas because if that were the case simply by the definition of the word everybody that would mean the entire Earth is moving to Texas which is ludicrous. People don't use the English language properly. However for those of you who have commented about moving to Texas and not liking it for whatever reason we are happy that you came and visited and we are sorry that you don't find Texas enjoyable and we are not going to try to hold your feet to the fire and not allow you to leave. Texas is a welcoming place and we're very friendly people but we don't try to force people to stay here if they don't care to live here. I was born in Texas and I have always lived in Texas other than for one year and I would not ever want to live anywhere else even though I have traveled to almost every state in this Union and to a couple of foreign countries and there's no place that I would want to reside other than in Texas.
@jackieberry1039Dang it I give up .
@mosesgomez7621Please y'all don't come here to Texas because it is a terrible place to be at , plus I have never seen so many ugly women . I wish that man would quit our state so many compliments . PLEASE STAY AWAY 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
@mosesgomez7621A single star, deep down south. What may that imply
@joakimlundgren7043I’ve been driving for over 30 years and used to take me just over an hour to drive from San Antonio to North Austin that drive now takes three hours and yes, they made toll roads that are privately owned and we gotta pay for every time we use I know people from California think that the traffic we got here is cute and fun But from someone who was born here, never really had to deal with traffic on a daily basis for such a long time. It’s not cute. It’s not fun. It’s a pain in the ass and hear about all these businesses coming over and starting up their companies over here in Texas like it’s such a good thing, but most of those jobs are tech jobs or specialized jobs that make so much money so much more than the average income here in Texas. How are the people that has regular jobs supposed to live here now we’re supposed to leave the state that we known our whole lives. I love that people appreciate our state, but it is our state and it feels like they’re changing it more and more every year price has gone up wages haven’t there’s always been a class system. I just never thought it would be so blatant here in the state of Texas or people are proud of the state that they come from in the hard work that they do. I just don’t think it’s fair.
@mariosampayo6455It’s amazing that I still haven’t seen a video showing how all these people moving to Texas have been ruining it for all the people that have been living there the whole lives, their rents doubled sometimes tripled First time homebuyers are having harder time getting their homes because people from out of state are willing and able to pay double market price and for someone who lived in Texas your whole life just because the traffic isn’t as bad as it was from when you came from I’ll mean that we’re Happy with it or content with it. Texas had good numbers and always was a strong competitor in our country, we didn’t need other people from other states coming over here to make Texas a better state. All they did was make it worse for the people that lived here their whole lives and as I feel for people and everybody got their problems, but how is that fair for my kids starting now tap to struggle so much more than I did when I was your age

@AntronLupoe-bo9ghHonestly it’s just cause of water, those last facts are definitely not true especially the diversity part
@kellakill5518I predict a housing crash due to people buying homes over asking price, lacking equity if prices decline further. Foreclosure becomes likely if they can't afford the house, and selling won't yield profits. With anticipated layoffs and rising living costs, many individuals may face this situation.
@ChristopherAbelmanPpl plz find another state as a person who was born here there's been traffic,but since more ppl are moving here the traffic has gotten out of hand

@eileenwatt8283Of course Texas is cheaper than California!
Why else would people move to Texas?
I need some truth najor i am set to move to texas from kenya nairobi can someone advise me please
@Mrsmart002From Illinois here are the main reasons... Real Estate taxes are half of what they are in Illinois. The sales tax in Chicago is 10.25%. The income tax is 4.95% for personal and 7% for business. Gasoline is 4.60 a gallon in Chicago. Traffic and Parking suck. Have you ever experienced a Chicago winter (-25F and 25mph winds)? The level of corruption makes New Jersey politicos look honest. Crime is double that of Texas. In short, Texas is like heaven!
@kenkaufman9998Cost of living is only $3,300 a month for one person in Texas, and 95% of the available average jobs pay maybe $2,800 month max...no benefits and they are at will employers that feel they are entitled to a 2 week notice if youl leave...it's only going to get worse.
@54531Vote Red unless you want to see Texas turn into another Blue state failure! Higher taxes, more crime and bad schools and social services.
@topgun3758Texas is going to be a blue state in the next 20 years or less
@TommyTomTompkinsTexas is full!
Stay in your state and fix it.
You helped break it so help fix it.
Vote Red not blue.
I’m in Ohio and the housing market here over the last 7-8 years is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Homes that were bought for $130K in 2015 are now being sold for $590k. I’m talking about tiny, disgusting, poorly built 950 square foot shit boxes in quite mediocre neighborhoods. Then you’ve got Better, average sized homes in nicer neighborhoods that were $300K+ 10 years ago selling for $750k+ now. Wild times.
@HannahbenowitzI want to move there to I love Chicago Illinois it will always be in my heart but I can’t deal with corruption and crooked politicians here.
@manny123957Texas is away of life! If you move here respect that! Cost of living is going up because so many people are moving here
I was born and raised in Texas! Texas is a way of life. Lived in Michigan for six month. Enrolled my daughter in school. Got a phone from her teacher saying she was bring rude and obnoxious. I asked her what my daughter said and did. Teacher said she said yes ma’am and sat down. My next question was what is rude about that. She said yes ma’am. I said Lady, that’s a sign of respect in Texas. She was showing you respect. Next day we went back to TEXAS.
They are moving to Texas because their companies relocated them. Most aren’t interested in staying, and most still vote Democrat.
Others moved to Texas because of Gavin Newsom and other democrat governors, yet they still vote Democrat.
Texas is quickly becoming California… Unfortunately!
After destroying California now all the fake liberals are moving to Texas, to do the same all over again.
@commonsense69688:01 Since the border has been getting flooded by illegals I’ve noticed a significant increase in crimes like car theft, car parts theft, robbery/burgalaries. The cartel has been busy here as well. They set up roadblocks to enable them to steal people’s money, valuables, and vehicles (especially trucks).
@barbaraness45075:42 Omg, I may have to stop watching this video because I feel it is giving a very unrealistic view of Texas. Yes, there’s more kids in the cities, but you didn’t break that down into the different reasons for that. Teen births have remained consistently higher in Tx. than other states. I got that straight from the internet, although I’d already figured it.
@barbaraness45075:15 Yes, it’s sunny, and hot!!
