10 Creepiest Towns in Texas That Locals Warn You Never to Visit
👍👍
**Some towns don’t fade away — they get *avoided*.**
In this video, we count down **10 of the creepiest towns in Texas that locals actively warn people never to visit**, not because of movie-style horror, but because of real history, isolation, disasters, and places that just feel… wrong.
Texas, no thanks!!!!
This isn’t surface-level spooky. These are real Texas towns with real stories — from erased ports and poisoned water supplies to forgotten desert outposts and places the state quietly moved on from. If you’re into U.S. cities, rankings, migration trends, or why some towns collapse while others survive, this one hits deep.
### ⏱️ **Timestamps**
The only Val Verde Texas I could find was east of Austin. The one in California is an outer suburb and doing OK.
00:00 – Intro
01:19 – **#10. Indianola**
It’s Saragosa, Tx
03:46 – **#9. Toyah**
05:29 – **#8. Lajitas**
Shows multiple videos of the old Kent County jail in Clairemont, Tx and then goes on to not talk about Clairemont at all. This video is sad, inaccurate, and patronizing.
07:40 – **#7. Rangerville**
09:50 – **#6. Thurber**
I wish you would tell a story wireal facts and locations rangerville and thurber facts are wrong
11:36 – **#5. Adrian**
13:41 – **#4. Saragosa**
Stop the lies
15:41 – **#3. Val Verde**
17:35 – **#2. Allamoore**
Proof watch your AI BS before you post it😂 lame
19:27 – **#1. Kent**
💬 **Question for you:**
Thiis video was made by someone who hasn’t done their homework. Adrian is near Amarillo and almost a suburb. Farmers and ranchers live in the country not the city! People choose this lifestyle you nitwit! Your bread and beef don’t come from factories!
Which town surprised you the most — and which one would you *never* stop in? Drop it in the comments.
👍 **Like the video** if you enjoy brutally honest rankings.
Yes! I do live somewhere that quiet! I live in the country 7 miles from the nearest town and it is small. We go to town when we want to!

Wow. I noticed that your marker for rangerville was off by more than a few miles. Then I read the comments. I believe you can take history and geography lessons online. I just hope that those teachers are properly trained.

A goat for mayor? I had a vegetable for president!
@russellinman3464Interesting ... Two of the "creepiest towns in Texas" are actually in Michigan and California ??? 🤨🤨🤔🤔
Weird, very weird ... 🤨🤨
These A.I. generated videos are getting crazier by the minute !! 😜🤪
Unsubscribing, unfollowing !!
now I'm living same like in toyah
@goclimpthetreeSincs when was California in Texas..
@KaareReardonI love your videos❤
@MrStateMetricsHmmmmmmmm . . . Adrian, TX, or Adrian, MI? Val Verde, TX, or Val Verde, CA. You gotta love AI that is programmed by someone without intelligence!
The AI obviously has a distaste for small towns.
Now Val Verde. CA. Thought the video was about Texas???
@texmarine3467Your map showed Adrian in Michigan. Did you confuse the two states?
@texmarine3467Fuck Buc-ee’s they are ice supporters never go there
@PharaohGomezI could live there...
@barbaramatthews5660Was this entire video made by AI? Rangerville is nowhere near Temple. And Michigan and California are not in Texas. And what's with the story of a tornado in 1938 but all the photos are from the 80s or 90s? Wtf is this?
@tbolinger75This is stupid. Toyah is a nice little town. I'm a trucker and stop there quite often. Please if you are going to speak on a subject get your damn facts straight.
@donaldscott7899Toyah is close to Pecos
@jeffomspaugh6691Rangerville is about 3 hours away from Temple/Belton, also when you penned it on the map you put it in the big bend, it's on the coast in the valley of South Texas.
Also, there are TONS of unincorporated towns like Rangerville throughout Texas, nothing strange or creepy about it. People prefer them due to no HOAs, no city taxes, counties provide everything needed with less red tape.
Notice all of these towns are in west Texas. Thats desert, so no they aren’t going to thrive.
@yellowrose4717I thought this was about Texas. Not Michigan
@yellowrose4717Toyah Texas looks perfect for me!!!!❤❤❤ It would be great to live where no other people lived. Perfect for my closest neighbor to be about 100 miles away.
@ronjohnson9641Note: Thurber has the BEST resturants in Texas,,,the Smokehouse has the best "chicken fried steak in the World" and the Hilltop has fried chicken and liver that granny made.
@larryhuddleston55Greetings and Salutations from Temple, Texas 🇺🇸
@LordDustinDeWyndSaragosa has 70 people there. Also businesses
@sanchez990507👍
@RochonLambertAs a life long resident of Texas, thie fella (AI)? has never been to Texas, and doesn't have the sense to look at Google maps. The last place he talked about, Kent, he was way off. The town of Kent, as was said by another, is in far west Texas north of the I-10/I-20 junction. However the pictures he was showing was of an abandoned town called Clairmont, located in KENT COUNTY. I was raised in the area, brother still ranches a little south of there.
@DRGreen-ps7ehAI gets confused easily, evidently. 🤣
@j.d.7574Oh yeah, what about Tow Texas?
@davidauflick2758Temple 10 minutes away from Rangerville? Are you sure? These AI generated videos can be interesting, but they are peppered with inaccuracies. What they do have are loads of useless dialog used as fillers to endure.
@henryreissig4555Give up using AI to produce your videos! It sucks 👎
@rkmatt8761Any cemeteries there
@rachelsalazar6410Great places to hide 😅
@rachelsalazar6410Valverde in Texas or California
@rachelsalazar6410Valverde is in Texas
@StacyGilbreath-j1sI lived in Amarillo for 29 years, I know EXACTLY where Adrian Texas is
@StacyGilbreath-j1sA.i got crazy
@jackjack-lq4deDelRio
@adelaacevedo2087Looks like the border to Mexico
@adelaacevedo2087Why do your visuals have nothing to do with your commentary? The lousy video disconnects are worse than the towns’ critiques. All these deceptive videos are the same.
