Disagree on the condiments, especially the mayo. I live alone and have purchased the large size mayo several times (sometimes brand name, sometimes Kirkland). I never thought of myself as a mayo person but it goes in or on a lot of things! It keeps well in the fridge and I've never thrown any away - still good after six months as it has a vinegar base, like pickles or mustard.
Let me be real with you for a second.
Costco has this reputation for being the holy grail of savings — like, you walk in for one thing and walk out having spent three hundred dollars and somehow feeling great about it. And sure, a lot of the time? That’s totally justified. But not always.
I'm a regular Costco shopper,and l do buy the mayo,with a household of 2 lgo through other regular.
Because here’s what nobody tells you — Costco Canada has some absolute home runs, things where you’d be crazy NOT to buy them there. And then it has some traps. Items that look like deals on the surface but are actually just… not worth it.
So today, I’m breaking it all down. Ten items that are genuinely worth your money at Costco Canada — and five that you should walk right past.
It’s too bad the rotisserie chicken is sold in plastic. That’s the only thing that bothers me.

@michellehouston722All my electronics I've purchased from Costco, 90 day no questions asked return policy, a low price for extended warranty, that worked out great when our TV crapped out after 2 years. Also try getting an awesome laptop with great specs anywhere else for the same price or close to it. No I'm not a bot 😂, just a working family man learning to save a buck.

@saracenking1Unbeatable prices on cheese, clothes, just about every grocery item they sell, hygiene and cleaning products, spices, outdoor / seasonal items etc. For my part, I almost never found the same item or exact equivalent at a better price elsewhere
@ME2K2312:55 Right, some electronic products are not the exact same model number you'll get elsewhere, but most of these will be equivalents with only cosmetic differences. You still get some with the exact same models, and either ways, you will get an additional 1 year guarantee for a lower price

@ME2K2310:48 ok, but since the price of chocolate increased, many brands changed their recipes to lower the cost. If Costco didn't change the product, it's still a better value if quality matters

@jodycarter7308I thought the chicken was on the bad list now due to the plastic packaging. Also, the laundry detergent I thought was on a bad list due to toxic ingredients. As for the nuts, toilet paper, maple syrup and chicken breasts, I always purchase these products and will add the Kirkland olive oil to the list. Thank you!

@Patricia-qg6bdRoast chicken has tons of chemicals. My eczema went wild after eating it. Also significantly smaller than yesterday years. Terrible for your health in my opinion.

@MKD319Gas alone is a no brainer for me. Usually 8 cents to as high as 14 cents per litre cheaper than my neighborhood gas station for me.. Also pretty good quality gas which doesn't evaporate like some discount gas stations I've tried.
@jimn4607Kirkland Toilet Paper is BETTER than name brand stuff. My friend bought some high-priced, well advertised TP and the rolls are smaller, the sheets are smaller and there are fewer sheets per roll. Costco wins!

@girl123cdn2I think the math is off with the protein bars. You show a box with 20 count for $17.99. That is about 90 cents each, not $1.20-1.50. But, that's even better!
