I have always hated how people said Equilibrium was ripping off The Matrix with the fighting style.
The fighting style from The Matrix is just standard kung fu, whereas "gun kata" was actually developed for the movie.

Yes!!! Equilibrium is an amazing movie. I feel it flew below the radar for a lot of people. I watched it in theaters with a cousin of mine who watched it about 3 times in theaters and couldn't stop raving about it. I'd argue this is one of Christian Bale and Taye Diggs best movie.
Tubi is coming in hot for the new year with these new additions to their catalog. I've watched almost all of these movies and enjoyed them.
