Less than 5 minutes from Bok Tower is Spook Hill . You drive there , simply stay in your car as it rolls backwards , all by itself , UPHILL !

I'm sorry but there is exactly ZERO chance you're going to get to St. Augustine in 1.5 hours from Orlando, it'll take damn near that long to get from Orlando to I-95 and another 1.5 hours from there.

Two things..

1. You mentioned the beaches but you failed to mention the Canaveral national seashore in Titusville which is free of boardwalks vehicles and overcrowding it is far superior to the normal beaches plus it has about 11 to 15 separate sections in sections 1 and 2 are literally nude beaches.

2. I just literally saw another video of yours that says Cocoa Beach pier is one of the biggest wastes of time in Florida so which is it??

Blue Springs is awesome. One of our favorite state parks. Besides manatees, we’ve seen gators, feral pigs, armadillos, and all sorts of snakes in the park. The historical buildings on site are interesting as well. Highly recommend it if you have time.

PS New Smyrna beach cost $31 to enter if you’re not a volusia county resident.

I've been all over Europe. I've been to Mexico a dozen times (LOVED IT!),Argentina, Honduras, Panama.

North Africa, as in Algeria, & Egyst & Tunisia.

I've been to 22 US States.

I was a defense contractor...I just worked on Army, though never in combat. I served as a contractor in Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan.

There are some LOVELY countries out there. Argentina is WOW BEAUTIFUL, as is Thailand and Greece.

Florida is the best though!

I don't mean to Hijack the video, but I hear comments help your algoithm & I 'm sure some folks might enjoy an old man's story. I'm 58, almost 59 now.

This is about Rock Springs Run form King's Landing to Wikiwa Springs (I think...this was 42 years ago).

So I'll tell you a funny story from 1983. I had just turned 16 & had a driver's license.

Dad a had a Ganoe. It was was an ungaily canoe designed to have a small engine, with a square transom at the back to mount a small engine.

I somehow finagled Dad into letting me use his 1978 El Camino to haul the Ganoe to King's Landing...It was me & my best buddy Bo. He was 15.

We started off with a couple balogna sandwiches & a large brick of Peanut Brittle. We had no paddles, but Dad's cousin across the road had a "Land Yacht" 35 foot ocean going vessel that he had never used in 5 years, so we borrowed the paddles out of it.

The paddles were rotten as rotten gets and we were soon paddling with 2"X2" sticks.

The current was pushing us along, but we'd go WHACK! into the bank left and right every 200 feet. Our balogna sandwiches had turned green, so we survived on peanut brittle for the interminable trip.

That 1980's Florida as a teenager....Live and learn.

I was born in Orlando, 1967. Out Boogey-Boarding (body surfing with a board for those that don't know), in the 1990's at New Smyrna Beach...I was about 28 or so. I jumped on my board to catch a wave & my foot hit "Someting". It was hard and rough.

By this time the wave had me. I was riding it fine, looked over and a 6 foot shark was surfing the same wave with me.

He was a nice guy. I just went back out in the surf for more fun!

-EDIT-- I grew up in Lake County, where the Sawbones Doctor had told my Mom to get an abortion because she was having a difficult pregnancy...That's how I wound up being born in Orlando Regional Medical Center.

Anyhow, I graduated Mt. Dora High School Class of 1985.

I grew up going to Rock Springs as a kid. The current is VERY STRONG! That spring CHURNS out water in high volumes! They don't call it ROCK springs for nothing. As a 7-8 year old kid I'd always come out with a bloody toe if I tried to walk/snorkel it. The inner tubes available for rent at Rock Springs Bar & Grill (you'll see it on your way in) are the way to keep from stubbing your toe.

Also make sure to try their Redneck Burger on your way home. They have lots of menu choices but the Redneck burger is my favorite. They have inner tubes stacked to the heavens outside (unless they are all rented on a Saturday at noon)..

It's basically a laid back sports bar, privately owned, that rents inner tubes as well, which is probably their main source of income in the warmer months.

Take your snorkeling gear and you are sure to find shark's teeth. That spring spews bazillions of gallons of water 24/7, and shark teeth keep coming up???? Go figure.

My Aunt was born in 1933. Both she, and my Uncle Walter have paseed on, but she said he would take her to Rock Springs in the early 1950's, to "Hang Out".

Aunt Mary said Hollywood sound crews showed up one time, just to record the frogs and crickets and owls and whatever Florida night time sounds they could get for a Tarzan movie.
