This is due to the fact soda companies know caffeine is addictive and resturants take advantage of this so they can charge more money

I recently quit caffeine as well, one the biggest downsides is itโs much harder to stay super lean, caffeine helps regulate my appetite, once I quit all I could think about is food, itโs harder to stick to your diet.
@mrhunter2154half was even too much if you even took %10 you would literally be high
@rainboltfiend4:00 lowkey hella fax when im unmotivated i often tell myself i'll simply do light cardio for 20 min then i end up doing 2 hours of zone 2
@rainboltfiendI've gone to the gym after smoking a J. I've also gone to the gym while sober and on caffeine. Going to the gym on nothing really does suck
@theerealatmDr Greg
Why does your head look so much rounder in this Video?
Thanks for the excellent topic.
Caffeine and nicotine are so addictive, I would purposely go to bed early because I couldnt wait to wake up. It's like having christmas morning 365 days a year. But now I quit caffeine and nicotine so I just get bored and go to bed, then I sleep in. So yea sleep 100% improved, my mood 50% improved, but I got really lazy. Zero motivation
@vikingstorm32So you actually stopped to set the camera and record the video in the middle of your race, you're out of breath, and after 50 km your skin is super dry, with no sweat at all...give this man an Oscar
@4ng3lL33Half then last time!
@terrydaugherty2216i go on evening walks to see the pink sky and golden glow of the sun
@Beanmachine91the workout is like watching him have sex lol
@Beanmachine91i know i am addicted to caffeine because when i go to the gym with no energy drinks i just want to leave and each sets feel so much worse
@josiahday210Doctors are startlingly uninformed when it comes to nutrition and fitness information. I once had a doctor tell me that i would never be able to not be fat because i had grown too many fat cells when i was a kid.
Don't workout for a month sounds more like an asspull than medical advice
Sleep pretty much > everything else in my book, so you should switch to green tea. ๐๐ช
@Der_StrauchdiebI just love it said every drug addict im just kiddinf greg i like your content ๐
@CrooKdLetterJI havent had caffeine in 9 days actually have more energy able to wake up in the morning no problem
@CrooKdLetterJI never did pre work out before then I bought some and did 2 scoops and felt cracked tf out and threw the tub in the trash. Still went to the gym but didn't didn't do anything lol
@goaltotroll4241I drink 4-8 cups of coffee a day 1.5 teaspoons of coffee per mug. I can sleep at night fine and I days without coffee no problem. However my friend gets chest pains on his 3rd cup of the day and high blood pressure
@emilebichelberger7590I went off caffeine about four months ago due to the desire to find a solution for fibrocystic breasts. Apparently, the caffeine molecule methylxanthine has been linked to this condition. I did notice improvements when I went off, but I can say that I now view caffeine as the "happy" drug. The sense of joy, pleasure, general life enthusiasm is simply not where it was when I was on caffeine. Not sure if I will go back at any point because it is a time consuming drug to wean yourself off of when you do decide to quit, but similar to Greg, the only real benefit I noticed was improved sleep. Well, maybe less overall anxiety too.
@wenzer2001Day 34 no caffeine. I think of it time to time but really donโt miss it. My drug of choice was a 5 hour energy a day, even when I didnโt feel I needed it. Ordered the stuff two cases at a time from Walmart and Amazon. Looked forward to the 5 min initial pick me up. I know, sad. Had to let it go. Too much anxiety. Replaced Starbucks. 17 years of caffeine to feel upbeat and energetic. Not how long it will last. Be encouraged.
@beckyhoffstetter2641Good for u Coach! Keep up the sustainable fight ๐๐ช๐๐๐ค and ur influence
@sgz8648I drank a ton of caffeine: working out, working as a firefighter, being a dad and then sometimes just because. I haven't drank any in over a year and I've saved A LOT of money. Workout performance has not declined but maybe getting to the gym is harder. I also have lower testosterone from my job and two kids now so that may be the culprit lol.
@dsandwich12Greg what passion i felt my morning started with negatively and just watched this vid watch your videos daily check lol I'm a big fan you are my best bodybuilder bugger that cook Bart kay keep it up man u made my morning tha ks Greg do some more Bart kay vids plz expose him get an ex pupil Barts been on the tren lost his hair all them bulls on that farm he lives love u Greg โ๏ธ
@johncooper986Personally caffeine has hardly an effect on me, it's a curse and a blessin', I can go without it easy but it doesn't really has much of a positive effect to drink caffeine
@maxschmidt9461The better mental health off of caffeine is worth more than a rep or 2 more in the gym personally.
@phendranaa14:15 you're cycling RIGHT NOW! can't fool me Greg...
@ugabuga2586He's on TRT and he lacks energy because of not taking caffeine ๐คทโโ๏ธ
@heresthethingyouguysI used to abuse caffeine and now I have a small cup of it every other day or so. Caffeine's horrible for your sleep if you drink too much so I'd rather get a good night's sleep that way. I actually have real energy than having to have artificial energy pumped into me five times six times a day
@aarionlynchgenius brand time release caffeine 100mg released over 4 to 6 hrs best shit to literally live life on js
@methospayne4735I swear I feel dead one day without caffeine... Wich is worriyng me.
@claudiapad9432day 23 of caffeine free, but l slept bad last night , is it withdrawl effect?
@hoyin324i'm really proud of following this guy throughout, truly awesome guy and kind, much love and respect coach greg<3
@mahmoudmohie1624him at the end pumped af love it XD love your energy and advice mate cheers
@TheAnabolic_Hebulklel dont take caffiene but gets vaccinated
@insideatentBest book I read on this subject .. the Joy of Movement"was Spark by John Ratey check it out
@avalonsundayHey Old Grog
@oliviar.l.v.68Greg's voice gets higher on caffeine. I'm liking this Greg. Not as annoying.
@JetteroHeller83Now I know why Gregg's so anxious and screams. Coffee. :) Alcohol doesn't make me "explosive" but coffee does...lack of coffee and drinking it. I've been not drinking coffee and I've felt myself more peaceful...but something is missing. So I rather drink coffee.
@atsilverineCoach Greg: "One month without caffeine!"
Coach Greg: does pre workout
Coach Greg: Goes Ultra Instinct
Greg u are so cool ๐
@Viv8ldiGreg sounds mentally weak. I stopped drinking Coke for about 3 months and I was still motivated. More motivated, as a matter of fact, because I was doing something I really felt was necessary - losing 20 lbs.
So either Greg doesn't really feel working out is necessary, or he is naturally lazy. FACT!
I love these videoss!
@DogLover_777Lmaooo his reaction is exactly what I expected and wanted 2 hear/see.
@montanakillilea1810as I a cyclist I sure would enjoy more on the bike stuff ๐ ever try track cycling, feel it would fit u as well
@orlipachecoWell most of the cons are simply withdrawal symptoms...
@loganwolv3393Decaf still has caffeine in it
@TheMetalone
