The pikahuna inspired a few orginal pokemon designs i used for roleplay stories me and my cousin used including a pikachu with green eyes. Another comes from the pink berries the pokemon ate. Which i gave the name pikana berries. Wh9ch is what my character called his raichu. He found her as a pikachu on the beach with hose berries and was lost in a storm falling from her original trainers boat who had pink 0ikemon and s7pplied him the berries after seeing she was happy and healthy. Before tuat he paid a ton of money.

@EmperorPikachu2013Wrong. Ganguro style is often misscredited as the inspiration for Jynx based solely on appearance. Jynx was based on a creature of Japanese folklore called "Yama-uba", otherwise known as the "Mountain Crone". Yama-uba is a popular subject of Noh Theater, and has been made the creature of good fortune for Japan's Sake industry. Yama-Uba is known for living on cold mountains and is said to practice witch craft. She often appears with long unkempt hair that is white or dirty making it yellowish with dark skin due to frostbite, and in some stories, she is depicted entrancing people with strange dances. This explains Jynx’s in-game type, ice/psychic. Ice because of where she lives in foklore, and in game being icy caves, and psychic because of her witchcraft, and psychic being the stand in for magic in Pokémon. There’s also the hair and dark skin matching the appearance of Yama-Uba, and whenever Jynx is shown in things like the show, she is often constantly dancing. There’s a lot that lines up with the appearance and behaviour of Yama-Uba. Jynx is just the child friendly version…..Minus the whole eating people thing, and the second mouth on the back of her head, Yama-Uba isn't always friendly in folklore. 😅
