The U.S. accounts for the vast majority (about 93% to 96%) of all Canadian crude oil exports, making Canada the largest foreign supplier of crude oil to the U.S. if you don’t need Canada why the heck are you buying nearly all our crude oil? To supply your MAGA industries and shut down Canadian century old commerce? So Canada should also apply a Canada 1st policy and nationalize oil production and use it as leverage with mobsters like the ones running the US today. A lot of bad dudes south of our border!

@jpaulcoleman2643Countries around the world have been running on their reserves since the war began. When the reserves run out the price of oil will rise again. The trickle of oil coming out of the Gulf region needs to return to normal levels or the world's economy will drop into a recession. The tankers coming out were ones that have been waiting for months parked inside the Gulf. No new tankers have gone into the region to refill. Kuwait is 100% dependent on the Stait for exporting oil. Iraq has small pipelines to Turkey but is otherwise heavily dependent on the Gulf for transport. Saudia Arabia has maxed out their capacity to ship to the Red Sea side of the country.
Americans are so MYOPIC and insulated from reality - they think this is about gas prices while the rest of the world has only a few weeks of diesel and jet fuel left. US gas prices are CHEAP even at $5/gal - which is still much much much lower than the rest of the world. 20% of world trade runs through the ME and also includes oil, gas, lubricating oil, fertilizer, sulphur, aluminum, container shipping, etc. The economic pressures in other countries have led to them selling off their liquid assets like US treasuries and gold reserves which in turn is affecting the US$. The world is closer to a total collapse than at any time since the 1930s.
Trump says he was smuggling oil out at night. Maybe that is where it has gone.
