It’s cold in Salford I had to put a jacket on today. Sunny hot weather please come back
@thewonkyeyedwomanI want to know when Surrey is going to get rain. ☔💦
@claireangier3322Down south I'm taking the heat a bit more positively and indeed hungrily looking forward to it. In fact I'm hoping to use the heat to my advantage and recommend everyone do the same. How? Read on.
I was planning to steam cook some momos for my dinner today. But after watching the weather forecast I've decided to postpone it until Thursday when the high heat and high humidity combination is going to help me steam cook my momos naturally without the need to turn my electric steamer on.
I'm also happy that by allowing nature to do my cooking I will be making a tiny but important contribution to the earth from heating up, even if it is probably only by 0.0000001°C. If fluttering of a little butterfly in Canada can make a difference to the wind pattern in China, then I guess by the same logic my tiny contribution can make a real difference to the world climate.
I hope people appreciate my noble gesture and possibly nominate me for the next Nobel Peace Prize. If Trump thinks he deserves the Nobel Prize for destroying our planet I reckon I deserve the prize more than him for protecting our planet by my positive contribution.
Love it this holiday so 🎉🎉🎉
@waqarahmed6169Its the Unceritanty🤔
@marksanders2964Vomitus, vile and life draining. Average needs redefining methinks
@Farold_HaltermeyerI think the met office should realise now weather it runs in patterns and we’ve had a pattern since may extreme heat thunderstorms next year patterns will be again , ie could be windy , loads of rain etc , untill the patterns start you cant predict ! next year , or winter . temperture you cant exactly forecast that either ! as temps are different from each station calibration proper screens fan aspiration screens etc
@johngarrett6731No more heat
@RobertAllen-c8nHow often are ‘average temperatures’ updated. Are they changed yearly or just every decade? The average temperature for the South East seems far too low, you always seem to show temperature charts of over 5 to 7c above average. Perhaps a topic for the deep dive?
@Technoir444audio still panned left, please fix
@TheRealFieryBiscuitsThank you, Alex
@christineemmawp88Think I might get on a train and go to Scotland for a couple of weeks.
@rosemarybleackley208Loving the high teens low 20s here in Scotland. You can keep the heat down there Englanders
@jonatube28Thank you Alex. The heat is very depressing and I can see that I will not be able to sleep tonight due to the heat.
@zhangruyi3153Oh dear get a bath in a bucket poor old south love North Yorkshire
@rogerwest6014Time to move to Scotland
@Chasingmidnight.Any sign of an end to this heatwave?
@jayawilder3835I understand we shouldn't complain, but UK residents aren't going to do well in the indoor temps as the buildings weren't not designed for the temps....
@fanp1188I feel sick. I'm dreading it
@Themis33Yep been raining for a while now in Midlothian. Not a light shower either lol
@MikeRoDoTWe are melting 🫠 in London.
@sharongamble6379Can't wait for winter, just wish our winters were colder though, winter in the uk is more like spring weather now, air conditioners should be banned too
@liverbird5950* I only hope that it'll change to a LOW soon with some rain down towards the south & east !!
@johnpearce3714It's raining here 59 fah south fife sunshine tomorrow
@BrianHudson-n9yWhy aren't we being told to conserve water.
Im old enough to remember the 1976 Heatwave, when hosepipe bans remained in place for several weeks.
Precious little rain has fallen, especially here in N Wales, yet were still consuming water as if everything is normal.
Why panic, when we come to our senses, and realise were running low on water, due to yet another very hot spell of weather with no rain forecast
All we've had for the past week 'Up North' is warm, but cloudy weather and a bit of refreshing rain. I'm hoping the cloud moves away and we actually get to see the sun!
@petfan2948[0:20] You do realise that your frontal analysis for 0500 looks nothing like the official 06 UTC analysis ?
@BruceMesserAlex Deakin thank you for the weather update for this tuesday sunny afternoon
@claremansfield3013Thank you Alex.
@victoriahouse9969Think we need a new average guys im not even sure what that means anymore. But at least it isnt overly humid.
